BETHEL HEALTHY COMMUNITY

About Us

Bethel Healthy Community Steering Group

The Bethel  Healthy Community Task Force is a partnership between the Town of  Bethel and the community that was established to encourage health and  wellness in the Town through access to healthy food, opportunities for physical activity and a sense of purpose.

The  work of the Bethel Healthy Community Task Force is guided by input from  the community; all are invited to be part of improving overall  community health. Specific initiatives are currently underway and there  is always room for new ideas. Meetings are held the third Thursday of  each month at 6pm at the Duggan Community Center in White Lake.

The  Bethel Healthy Community Task Force hopes to inspire community spirit  and build connections with other town volunteer organizations such as  the Bethel Business Association, Bethel Council of the Arts, Bethel  First, Bethel Green Committee, the Bethel Lions Club and community  events such as Community Pride Day, the Kauneonga Lake Farmers’ Market  and the Kauneonga Block Party.  Each of these organizations, efforts and  activities contribute individually and collectively to the overall  community health and wellbeing for the Town of Bethel and our residents.
